This well-manicured garden, west of Bangkok, was formerly known as the Rose Garden Riverside. Here visitors can walk or cycle through the lush greenery, take a boat ride on the river, swim and even play tennis. A tour of the Organic Farm offers visitors a chance to learn about traditional Thai farming methods and buy some of the produce. However, the chief attraction for visitors is the daily show of culture. Packed into the one-hour show are traditional Thai dancing, ancient sword fighting, a Thai wedding, the ordination of a monk and Thai boxing. The model Thai village within the grounds is a showcase for fruit-carving, basket weaving, and other crafts.
