Renu Nakhon

Posted By : chauthihoaithuong/ 5 0

Renu Nakhon is a village known primarily for its weaving and fine embroidery. At the popular Wednesday market, colorful cottons and silks are sold by the phun, a measure 2 ft (75 cm) long. Ready-made garments and furnishings from all over the Northeast and Laos are also sold. There is a more permanent gathering of textile stalls around Phra That Renu. This was built in 1918 and modeled loosely on the nearby chedi at That Phanom
