Prasat Prang Ku

Posted By : chauthihoaithuong/ 5 0

Located in the district of Prang Ku in Si Sa Ket province, this 11th-century Khmer monument comprises three brick prangs on a single platform. The most remarkable feature is a well[1]preserved lintel, divided horizontally into two sections by the tails of two long nagas. In the center stands Vishnu on his mount, a garuda. On either side of the garuda are two lions with garlands of flowers in their open mouths. The top half of the lintel is decorated with dancing deities. In front of Prasat Prang Ku is a 1,100-yard (1,000-m) long Khmer baray (reservoir), a welcome feeding ground for birds.
