This predominantly Indian market offers all the tastes, sights, and smells of Bombay. The main bazaar, which spills out around Phahurat and Chak Phet roads, specializes in fabrics. Downstairs, cloth merchants sell anything from tablecloths to wedding saris. The dimly lit upstairs section is devoted to traditional Indian accessories such as sandals and ornate jewelry. In the surrounding streets are many delicious “holein-the-wall” Indian restaurants and samosa stalls.
